By Prof. Chris Kwaja
My dear people of Plateau North Senatorial District of Plateau State, I am full of gratitude to you ALL, for the uncommon love and support shown to me in the run up to the “Senatorial Primaries” of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which “took” place between 18th and 19th May, 2026. Your unwavering support, encouragement, prayers, and belief in our shared vision was deeply humbling and inspiring.
Although the outcome of the “primaries” was not in our favour, I accept the decision of the party in pushing for what emerged as an outcome. To every supporter who invested time, energy, and resources into this journey, I say thank you. This is not the end of our collective aspiration to serve our people and contribute meaningfully to the progress of Plateau North and our great party.
The power of our collective voices is still critical to the success of our shared goal for a society that is built on the solid foundation of fairness, equity and justice. At this critical moment, I urge all our supporters to remain calm, steadfast, and united. We have a society and a country to protect. I remain committed to the peace, unity, and advancement of Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole. This has been my article of faith.
Yes, we did not get the Senatorial ticket. We did not lose our voice. We did not lose our conscience. We did not lose our principles. We did not lose our faith. We shall remain resolute and steadfast in working towards a better society, where no one is oppressed.
Thank you.
