In a few hours hence, 2025 would have passed into history and been succeeded by 2026. There should be no greater joy than surviving 2025 although survival is so cheap a form or level of living it is nothing to celebrate.
Nevertheless, Intervention congratulates all those who survived the year because of the many ordeals and challenges ordinary Nigerians in particular faced in the year. The prayer now is for a greater 2026 for everyone
At Intervention, we are more than pleased to take this opportunity to thank all our readers. This is more so that even as we scaled down scaled down our publishing activities, the readership has kept rising, sometimes to surprising levels.
We believe the Facebook statistics because they correspond with the reading times in the regions, particularly (West)Africa, North America and the rest of the world. It is possible it is still Nigerians in North America, for example, who constitute the bulk of our readership from there but even if that is correct, the level of readership is more than exciting and serves as part of what we must respond to in the impending reform. In the meantime, the publishing holidays will continue to be interspersed with occasional postings to keep the traffic heavy.
Once again, this is wishing all our readers a very prosperous 2026, come rain, come shine!
