Chris Kwaja, Modibbo Adama University’s Associate Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies has landed on admission at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) after surviving a ghastly car crash. The accident occurred Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at Garaku in Nasarawa State in central Nigeria.
Prof Kwaja was on his way to Abuja. The car in which he was travelling is so badly damaged that his survival must be God’s miracle, a concerned observer volunteered to Intervention.
Details of what led to the crash are not immediately available but photographs from the hospital bed shows bruised and swollen body parts, particularly the eyes and the head.
Prof Kwaja is one of Nigeria’s most published scholars of Peace and Conflict Studies as well as maintaining a scholarly presence in civil society activism.
