In an entangled world involving a geometry of power based on networked information and virtual technologies, the topic must be a hit within the assemblage around national security in and around Nigeria. The topic in question is “Maritime Domain Awareness for Africa’s Maritime Security Architecture”.
That is the topic intellectuals and practitioners of maritime statecraft in Nigeria will take their turn to look back so as to look into the seeds of time in relation to that domain. They would be doing this within the scope of a Zoom session to that effect by the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, (NIIA).
NIIA’s invitation to stakeholders to that effect is already out to stakeholders. The leading voice at the session taking place at the NIIA Conference Chambers would be Rear Admiral Francis Dan Akpan (rtd.) and the session is scheduled to start by 11 am (West Central Africa time) between on Monday April 3rd, 2023. But Intervention understands that this would be a particularly full house.
