Many from her different circles were there, especially members of the First 11 from among cultural producers, gender activism and academia around and about Abuja. If you don’t see them in these pictures, it is not because they were not there. It must be a matter of style.
Mrs Ogazuma’s 70th birthday can hardly be anything less. And no particular person has to be there before reckoning with it as an occasion all attendees must have taken as a matter of homage to Madam’s personality, cultural and professional authenticity, and staying power.
Good to know that the pair is blooming, still capable of looking at each other from the corners of their eyes in their evening. They are entitled to, considering each’s contribution to the key areas they chose to pitch their professional tents in life.
