Bureaucrats, technocrats, diplomats, other colleagues, friends and relations will gather in Abuja, Nigeria later today (April 12th, 2025) to mark the 60th birthday of Ambassador Nick Ella. Ambassador Ella is currently the Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Ministry for Petroleum Resources.
The 60th birthday provides an opportunity for sober reflections on a career which has taken him to the most strategic posts in Nigerian foreign service as a career diplomat, among them the United States, China, India, and Australia .
