He studied Political Science in Bayero University, Kano in the mid-1990s before returning home to the neighboring Republic of Cameroon. There, he has remained engaged with academia, including the pursuit of a PhD.
Last Saturday was thus remarkable for him when the University of Buea held its Convocation. His PhD in Political Economy was formally confirmed and celebrated. He is a pioneer PhD holder in that specialization in Political Science from the university which was created in 1993. Before 1993, there was just the one university at the capital in Yaoundé.
