Former FCT Minister, Engr. Muhammed Abba-Gana, CON, is leading the mourning of the father of Senator Philip Aduda, the Senator Representing FCT at the National Assembly, (NASS). Rev. Tanimu Samari Aduda, the Senator’s father died last week.
The former FCT Minister said in a statement that Rt. Rev. Tanimu Samari Aduda was a great theologian and religious and community leader who had meritoriously served the church, particularly in the FCT, the nation’s capital territory where he was the well-known Anglican Bishop of the Gwagwalada Diocese of the FCT.
Engineer Gana traced his meeting with the elder Aduda to about 20 years ago when he (Gana) was FCT Minister (2001-2003), saying that Aduda always acted as the real man of God he was, to ensure that the peace, unity, security and happiness of all the diverse people living in the FCT was never threatened in anyway. Engineer Gana is sure that thousands and thousands of people would continue to miss the departed
The ex-Minister described his death as a matter of when his time came, praying to God the Almighty and All-Knowing, to ensure that his good soul rest in perfect peace.
