Insecurity in Nigeria appears to taking a new turn as former Chief of Defence, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh is killed by unknown gunmen yesterday evening on his way back into Abuja from his Keffi Road farm. Naturally, the question would be, if a former CDS could be gunned down, who is not vulnerable?
Some media platforms have since obtained and posted pictures of the shooting and death of the former CDS, a reality bound to send shock waves far and near because of his status vis-a-vis perishing in that manner. Meanwhile, the Airforce has confirmed the demise of its former service chief, saying in a statement by Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola that the former CDS died from gunshots in the aftermath of an attack on his way home from his farm.
