The Advisory Board of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, (CISLAC) wound up its two day long meeting with a pat on the back for the staff for managing themselves like a family. Chairman of the Board, Mallam Y Z Y’au said members had observed and noted that pattern of intra-staff cordiality as well as the very low turn over in the organisation.
The Chairman said these were the elements that would provide the strength for the organisation as it provides leadership for a national chapter of Transparency International, (TI) and in which position it could enhance its anti-corruption advocacy. Vital issues relating to the transformation were considered by the Advisory Board during the two day meeting observed by a Secretariat staff from TI Headquarters in Berlin.
