So, is the United States on the eve of operating a staging post in Ghana or not? Nana Akufo-Addo, the president of Ghana has created the image of the African leader who can say it as he sees it. This can be seen from his reply to a Trump tweet on Africa. When the story broke on March 20th, 2018, (see ‘United States Deny News of Military Base in Ghana‘ in Intervention, March 20th, 2018), the US Embassy in Ghana said no such thing exists. But, could these television networks, one of them American, be wrong in what they are reporting?
