Mallam Danlami Samuel (D. S) Ibrahim, the Dan masanin Wusasa, is to be buried Saturday, May 31^st, 2025. He died last Friday, May 23rd, 2025.

Family announcement to that effect indicated that Mallam D. S. would be interned at the Wusasa Cemetery in Zaria, Zaria Local Government of Kaduna State after the funeral service at St Bartholomew Cathedral in Wusasa. The previous day would have witnessed a Service of Songs at the Cathedral.

A former Rector of the Kano State Polytechnic, former Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board and the Kano State Pension Board, Mallam would have been exactly 87 years by December 22^nd, 2025 if he lived to that point.

Dan Masanin Wusasa spent most of his career at the Ministry of Education, Kano although he was also a one-time Director at the Ministry of Justice.

At his 85^th birthday anniversary on December 23^rd, 2023 in Abuja, celebrants heard a lot about the courage and clout of the D. S Ibrahim’s generation of civil servants in the old Kano State.
