Intervention has no formal relationship with the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex in the UK. The platform, however, assumes that IDS would wish that its Bulletin has more readers, particularly in the global South where international development has its justification. In any case, IDS is an Open Access stuff.
It is on that basis that Intervention is drawing attention of those who might not be aware already of the Bulletin, particularly the current edition. New readers would most likely have to fulfil registration to access the Bulletin but which takes no more than a few minutes.
The current edition can be a good starting point for many, given the radical orientation of nearly all approaches in feminism and the interpretive character of the methodologies involved vis-à-vis voice and power. Have a great reading if this works!
The caveat though is that Intervention does not know enough to accept or endorse the notion of gender backlash. Every reader who uses this information is, therefore, on his own in terms of what s/he accepts or rejects or wishes to add an amendment!
