“Pathways to Enhanced Security and Conflict Resolution – Northwestern Nigeria and the Middle East in Perspective” is the topic which will engage the attention of scholars and practitioners of the field for the better part of November 9th, 2023. It will be happening at Usman Dan Fodio University (UDU) in Sokoto which is inviting all who care to the zoom session.

Tomorrow’s symposium parades notable names in the scholarship and practice, among them Comrade Abubakar Sokoto Mohammed, ex-ABU, Zaria and ex-NIPSS; Prof Sunday Ochoche, pioneer DG of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution as well as ex-UN operative; Dr Murtala Rufai who must be the historian who has conducted studies on banditry in the Northwest and Gen S. K Usman, ex-military spokesperson.
