It is unbelievable that, for nine days, this online newspaper could not post a single story. And for a very simple technological glitch in the hub that did not make posting stories impossible but not at the hub. That means that story clearance was impossible and since stories needed to pass the test, journalism here went to asleep.
Everyday, the hope that the problem would be fixed evaporated, compounded by the many non-working days that followed each other. By last Tuesday, some Board members had become so worried as to make personal and group interventions. The outcome was a good start yesterday morning, the collapse of which sent everyone to sleep, welling in anger and frustration. How could sophisticated Abuja not have what we were looking for and some service centres would be telling us they have to snap the part and send it to Lagos from where it would be sent by night buses by Monday, August 27th, 2018.
To think of of how and from whom the solution came is to accept the wisdom of the sage never to say, who are you to anybody. The long and short of it is that Intervention is back. We apologise for the suspense. The suspense was because everyone thought the glitch would be over in a few hours. Hours grew into days and a week plus! We thank all those who were so concerned. Now, it is time to say, please stay tuned because Intervention is back!
