Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, (CISLAC) is to launch an Endowment Fund. CISLAC Board of Directors approved the planned fund Endowment earlier today at a Board meeting held in Kaduna.
The details of the fund are to be worked out but the Board unanimously approved the idea which is to enable the NGO enhance sustainability and the creativity it is generally assessed to have brought into civil society activism.
The Board meeting had to take place in Kaduna in consideration of prevailing circumstances and other considerations. Z Ya’u, the Chairman of Board, Mr. Adagbo Onoja of Veritas University, Abuja, Hajia Hadiza Kangiwa, ex- Head of the Refugee Commission and development worker; Barrister Adesina Oke and Auwal Musa Ibrahim aka Rafsanjani, the Executive Director of CISLAC.
